In defiance of the harsh Texas sun, Michael Bessner is rumored to be practicing the lost architectural and horticultural techniques of the ancient Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Raised in Austin, He studied Architecture at UT Arlington and SCI-Arc. Michael cut his teeth at Richard Meier & Partners, followed by a short stint at the office of Max Levy. In an attempt to elude the authorities, Michael roamed the streets of Germany before finding refuge in the office of Cunningham Architects.

Married with two kids, his family often reports seeing traces of aluminum shavings and saw dust in his wake.
