14840 LANDMARK OFFICE BUILDING
DALLAS, TEXAS | 25,000 SQFT | COMPLETED IN 1983
DALLAS AIA MERIT AWARD 1984
TSA HONOR AWARD 1984
“These two buildings [Landmark and Twin Hills] deserve attention because they are logical, well-made and express several strong, clear architectural ideas at a time when much design has become excessively glandular. They are intentionally typical, non-sculptural, sensibly crafted brick ‘shells’ that could conceivably serve a broad range of clients and uses.”
- Dallas Morning News 7-18-85
“Sticking to the premise of Modernism that ‘less is more,’ this office building is a straight-forward solution to the developer’s wishes. While the interior displays a refined attention to detail, the exterior is simply a brick-veneer box, enclosing parking at ground level and two floors of office space above. Both architect and developer set out to make their building contrast with what they term ‘slick’ and ‘loud’ North Dallas architecture.”
