Located on a narrow wooded site flanked by a creek and a railroad track, you would not guess you were in the North Dallas suburbs. Accessed by a 250-foot long drive from the street this 4,300 square foot house pool stretch the remaining length of the property allowing for proper climatic orientation and multi directional views.

The first floor includes a brick garage and more delicate glass main living area separated by a motor court breezeway. The long Cor-ten steel clad second floor spans these areas and includes bedrooms, gallery, office, family room and utilities. The design solution and materials used respond to the adjacent railroad, budget and the desire for the house to blend in with the site.
